How to Delete Your Customer Account

This article explains why customer accounts cannot be deleted due to ICANN regulations, and what actions you can take to clear your account and prevent future charges.

Important: Your customer account cannot be deleted. You can still clear your account by deleting all active domains and removing your saved cards to avoid any future charges.

Why can't your customer account be deleted?

According to ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) guidelines, we are required to retain certain registration and contact details for a specific period. This helps prevent online abuse and supports internet safety.

Due to these requirements, your customer account cannot be permanently deleted. You can still clear your account and avoid any future charges by deleting all active domains and removing your saved cards.

How to clear your account

To clear your account, first log in.

Follow these steps to log in to your account:

1. Open your browser and navigate to the website or platform where you purchased your domain

2. Locate and click the Login button, typically found in the top-right corner or in the menu

3. Enter your email address (used for registration) and password

4. Click Log in or Sign in (depending on the platform)

5. Once logged in, click Account or My Account (depending on the platform), usually in the top-right corner or in the menu

You have successfully logged in.

Follow these steps to clear your account:

1. Delete all your active domains

You must delete all domains associated with your account to prevent any future renewals or charges.

2. Remove your saved cards

After deleting your active domains, you can remove any saved cards from your account.
