What are nameservers?
Nameservers store DNS Records and route internet traffic to the correct destination. They act as directories, ensuring that when someone enters your domain (e.g., example.store), they are directed to the correct server for your website, email, or other services.
Name.store’s default nameservers are the standard nameservers provided by Name.store. Using these allows you to manage DNS Records directly within your account.
Custom nameservers (from an external DNS provider) require you to manage DNS Records with your external provider instead.
For details on DNS records and their purpose, refer to our article on How to Add, Edit, or Delete DNS Records.
